Pro-Matrix's natural flavour affords it many uses. It is low in cholesterol and a great alternative to those on a lactose diet.
When mixed with water, it resembles low fat milk in flavour and texture. For a richer taste, either shake with milk or blend with milk powder. Pro-Matrix mixes well in a shaker or blender (not recommended to mix by spoon).
Use in place of milk or soy beverages for breakfast cereals, drinking or in recipes. Sprinkle it over your breakfast cereal or use it to add texture and flavour when baking breads, cakes or scones. Make your own unique high protein pancakes, dips, soups, sauces, & gravy, mousse & custards.
Recommended daily protein intake for people conducting resistance training is:
2 grams protein / kg LBM
LBM (lean body mass) is your body weight without fat
So if you're 77kg with 10% body fat, your LBM is 70kg. You should consume 140g of protein (70kg x 2g/kg = 140g per day).
It is also recommended to consume protein in quantities no greater than 30 - 40g serves, which is how protein powders can add convenience to a regular diet.
For regular daily consumption, mix 2 parts of Pro-Matrix WPC or WPI with 1 part Pro-Matrix CC. For a quick protein supplement straight after a workout, drink 30g of WPI mixed with juice (or some other source of glucose).

It is perfect for delicious smoothies. Flavour with your own selection of yogurt, fruit, honey, vanilla essence, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa powder or even soaked dates / sultanas / nuts.
Mocha
- 100g natural yogurt
- 250ml filtered water
- 6 cubes ice
- 30g WPC naked
- ½ tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp decaffeinated coffee (or carb powder)

- 125g strawberries or melons or banana and soaked dates.
JP's Midnight Pancakes
- 1/2 cup of Pro-Matrix WPC naked/ CC mix
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of milk
Melt a small amount of butter on non-stick fry pan with low heat. Pour pancake mix onto pan and cook as normal.
Mornin' Muesli
- 1 cup of oats or mix of whole grains
- 250g of low fat yogurt
- 20g of WPI naked
- Fresh or dried fruit to taste
For best results, soak the grains for about an hour (overnight is best) in a little water or juice. Drain of excess water and then mix in yogurt and whey protein.
